12/8/2020 – 7:00 PM – A Conversation with Dr. Nicole Cooke on Social Justice in Librarianship
A three time Rutgers alum, Dr. Cooke is the Augusta Baker Endowed Chair and an Associate Professor of the School of Information Science in the University of South Carolina’s College of Information and Communication. She has experience in public, medical, and academic libraries, and her research and teaching interests include critical cultural information studies, fake news/misinformation/disinformation, and diversity and social justice in librarianship, focusing on how to integrate them into LIS education and pedagogy.
